Measure bottom of spring cup down to the hub at the same point on either side, I think maybe there is some corrosion in the hub and the strut may not have seated all the way home.
I’ll have a look at that tomorrow, at the back of the shock there is a guide plate with a hole in it! That slots between the hub pin! So it can only be at one level so the pin screws through ! I did replace the rear wishbone with a new one on the same side along with the anti roll bar drop link a few months ago! I’ll dig the pictures out

‘maybe worth checking the rear arb drop lengths etc then too.
the strut hole you speak of could have been factory fitted at wrong height, measure both sides and compare and still check how deep it is in the hub by poking up from below to rule it out.
Are you sure your car hasn't had a whack? That's a new rear spring arm and it looks to be missing the camber washer. Certainly the rear arb link shouldn't be bent like that. It's all out of line.

i replaced the rear swing arm mate! I had to cut the old one off as the nut was just turning! And it wouldn’t come out! I needed it off to replace the springs
I've fitted 2 white line rear kits on my past 2 focus rs's. Both came supplied with poly bushed drop links. Something is wrong at the rear of your car I reckon
Compare the pics where you can see "white line" in the pic, think third up, driver side the roll bar is really close to the arm, other side is inch gap.
If I remove the rear drop link will that possibly set the front level! I’m guessing I might have to change the drivers side one 2!. I guess I should lease the rear then lol?
Undo the rear anti roll bar for a start and then see what happens. Then measure everything you can on each reference point of the car and compare sides.
The inner bolt for the rear spring arm, kind of the middle of the rear subframe. That bolt has a camber washer to adjust rear camber. If you haven't fitted it correctly the chances are the back end is out of line.
Might be worth mentioning that your front drop links look enormous. I've never worked on a mk2 focus but of the mk1 the drop links are waaaaaaaay shorter. The front arb looks way too close to the front arm. It looks like it's touching nearly
‘could be, whip them both off and compare. If you have any wd40 spray the nut on the old side tonight and let it soak, it will make the job easier when you can do it.

the washer I think is on the front of the arm! Is it a oblong, lob sided washer?, I checked by jacked the car up with the drop link on and it doesn’t touch mate! I jacked the wheel up to see if the arb touched the front arm but it’s ok! No touching at all even when fully compressed
Yeh both sides r very close! I think they are about an inch or so off the arm! When I jack the hub up to install the shock into the hole not once did it touch! The clearance is ok when fully compressed! In the pic the whole suspension is sagging so it looks closer! When it sits in the wheel arch with the wheel on there is almost 2inxh gap between front arb and front arm
My bet is the rear is out, arb mount on the arm and the rear arms have different gap / camber. Fix that and I bet it all levels up.
if I replace the old side with a new link and take it to get the camber set properly and the geo done will it sort it then? Can the camber be adjusted on this new arm are is it fitted in same place as old one?

yes, that would do it. Just check there is camber adjustment when you put it back on.
I really appreciate all your advice and help lads! Gonna get under her tomorrow and see what’s what! I’ll give u a update tomorrow if I’m home in time to get under her!
What if there is no camber adjustment! Can I adjust the old side to suite?

‘I think there should be but you need to find out where and how...maybe google rear camber adjustment.
Just a quick update! Been to fords to purchase a new camber washer bolt! £24.99 that’s with the nut also .... bloody expensive.
taken the car to formula 1 and they don’t have the old hunter geo machine so they cant adjust the toe As it will have to be lasered in and the car sits too low! Hopefully i will get it to the garage before 4:30 tomorrow, they have quoted me £25 per adjustment. Does this sound about right ?
Bolt price sounds about right to me. Are you in a hurry for the car? If not do a few searches for places that can do the geometry correctly. It sounds a bit pricey to me, but I've no knowledge of costs if I'm honest. Last time I had a car set up it was £400-450 iirc. That was classed as a bargain too. Mind you the car had been in a million pieces so it pretty much drove sideways it was that far out!

hey sorry I have just came back from the garage! I’ve had it on the geo and had all the angles adjusted and rear toe ! The mechanic says I need to replace the rear driver side swing arm as he says the bolt is rotten and looks like a different swing arm to the new one! Hence why the link is pushed out he says???? I’ve just paid £100 for the set up and it hasn’t changed!!!
thinking about cutting my losses and getting rid of it!!!!! Bloody headache
a quick search arch and I found these, worth a call?
had as my escort turbo tuned on rollers there a long time ago mate and they weren’t the friendliest people redline! Charged me £360 to put on my own actuated!
i had a full built engine, cosworth crank sensor etc stage 4 head! T3 hybrid rs500 cooler etc cossworth injectors and he only tuned her to 149hp.
ended up taking it to Ahmed bajoo and he got her up to 249hp
