Default Pf01 vs Pf09

Any differences to each other ? Only my mapper has told me to get a PF09 as my PF01 doesn't show closed throttle ?

this was the message i got ...

The pf01 has a switch which shows open circuit with closed throttle so that's not going to work unfortunately. The pf09 is the one we need. Ie any other 0 to 5v sensor.

I'm sending him a PF09 so he can carry on ..on Saturday when he's back from Scotland.

Yeah mate they are 0-5v but they work opposite to each other, one will be 5v at idle going down to 0v the other starts at zero.

i take it the simtek can’t work with a pf01?

I’m pretty sure spwapping the wires only enables you to run a pf09 on a 2wd loom and vise versa. If your stuck I could dig out my pf09 and meet your mapper up here so he’s got it.

I can imagine it being frustrating being held back by something like that, yeah I know he does Andrews mapping and he more that likely passes through my town on the way to AG.

Its because the PF01 goes open circuit at idle. Useless to any ecu other than Weber setup.

I want individual throttles on mine but to go dbw I either need to find that driver for my vipec or swap to emtron and I don’t fancy another about turn and buy again.

Good stuff mate I’ve got the one off a 1.8 20vt which is a direct fit (MarkK’s recommendation) I’m assuming yours will be the same part

Did see the video it’s an impressive package especially for the money

Don't use either, the are both ancient, The advantage of standalone is you can use modern cheap sensors.
