Ouch, bet that was a mistake you'd have liked to avoid.

I used to miss 3rd and hit first in my mk4 escorts and shatter the clutches to the point no one wanted to help change them.

Boost cut in my old 3b audi s2 was like getting chucked through the windscreen and not a nice experience but at least that didn't damage the engine like your experience.

I sold my rental property a few years ago to invest the money in one of my businesses, best thing I've ever done, I was gonna buy another property but in all honesty I have more than enough business work to do as it is, so I've decided to expand my car collection with some cars I want instead

I can have some of the cars now I dreamed of owning years ago

Oldschool muscle car is next on the list, a Chevrolet chevelle ss is one I would like

I quite like the idea of Santa Pod, a set of Mickey Thompson's on the back and see it if will do 140 in the quarter, gearbox and diff should be plenty strong enough

Nice focus, I've not owned one upto yet do they deal with the power ok being fwd ?

And yep I agree can't take money with us, I went all in about 4 years ago sold my house and used all my savings aswell all put into the plant hire business, I was gonna sell the gtr and put that money in to but thankfully dad talked me out if it.
Many people said I was mad selling property and buying tractors but it has paid dividends now

I can now have the things I used to dream of and buy them as the businesses are generating alot more income as I've basically tripled it in size, but it is a monumental ammount if work though lol

But when I can have things like rods saph it makes it feel that bit more worth it

I think Rod would approve immensely as you have invested in your future ( he always banged on about that lol) and now you can afford to be a little stupid pmsl !

what can i say about the focus in truth well at 400 bhp its the best fwd car ive driven but much more than that i think itll be pointless imo . Its a great alrounder its fun to drive and its comfortable for my old creaky body and it looks and sounds nice so like i say maybe not the best thing since slice bread but its good at everything I dont think i can be any fairer than that

If you are not going to push for over 800 I wonder if Mark Shead would recommend going for a smaller turbo to improve response as Rod was looking for 1000+ ideally. I wonder if the 9180 would get that high or something else?

I was chatting to mark about it once and he said he would fit a 3.9 diff and smaller wheels and the thing would be amazing as a road car
