Default Mobile phone holder holes repair

Afternoon, tried a few company's for this, one wanted me to strip the dash out and drive to Leicester even though his advert said he is a mobile service "no job to small" etc etc the others just never call back.

Any recommendations on DIY kits for this or company's that actually want the business in the derby area.

Here's the area that needs attention.

or has anybody got an original phone kit they want to sell.

cheers.

As it's plastic I would remove it and from the rear use a clean soldering iron melt the plastic inwards to fill the holes. Then fettle from the outer should work well.

if not I am sure one of the breakers will have that bit.

Tried no end of breakers and most have the same Issue or have been made worse around the stereo area..

might have ago with a hot iron.

was going to try a dremal and then mix some mitre mate (two part joiners glue) with some colour matched paint.

I think you would be surprised at the method I suggested I done it years ago on a Metro of all things.

Use a hard piece of plastic to rub the outside smooth handle of a screw driver works ok.

As for filling use teroson 6700 it's a 2 part adhesive/Filler but tbh I don't think you will need it.

Just ensure you iron is clean as you will leave traces of solder on the plastic.

I'll have ago, I'll try it down on the centre console trim first to get the hang of it.

I'll post some pics when I've had a butchers.
