Default Fiesta engine conversion.

av herd of lots of ppl putin the puma 1.7 engine into fiestas and got big BHP from them. i decided to look into it nd found the prices and some places that did them etc etc, but they are mostly put into zetec s 's, can they be put into something like a ghia or is there a reason for the zetecs.

thanks

No such thing as a ghia motor mate, a ghia is the more uppermarket trim

a late spec mk4 fiesta like mien (with the electric trip reader) and the mk5 fiestas with zetec engines have the same wiring and dash as the puma's and zetec s cars

so basically all it needs is engine swap and ecu swap and a few other minor adjustments

with other cars all the wiring would need to be swapped and can be very time consuming.

if you want to put these engines into pre 1996 fiestas then you will also need engine mount fabrication

if you have a ghia model fiesta with a zetec engine (1.25 or 1.4) then the swap will be easier
