Waterless Coolant
I have been toying with the idea of changing over to this to keep temperatures down on my Cosworth.
Whats peoples experience of it?
My car isn't overheating etc just runs a lot hotter than a mates Cosworth already running it as it was in the car when he got it.
Is it worth the cost as it looks like it will be about £200 to do one car.

Cars run a little hotter with waterless coolant in.
I tried it but not worth the money or hassle in my opinion.
Change out the thermostat for a new one, check you have the correct sender unit and use something else to check the gauge. Maybe consider a turbo after cooler rad.
Also flush out the system well

I don't believe it will do anything to reduce the running temperature.
That boils down to physics, (no pun intended) radiator core size and design and thermostat etc.
Have you flushed you cooling system?
It's USP is that it has a higher boiling point and as it's waterless, reduces corrosion.

Is yours an Aircon model? Only reason I ask is my one is and runs a bit hotter than my previous 2wd. I think this is down to the Aircon rad being in the mix of the coolant radiator.

Waterless coolant is a waste of time mate ..when you say running hotter ..how hot ? ..you need to take some proper readings and go from there as the original clock needle are not accurate by any means .. personally I'd do that and if it is running hot ..then look into fixing the problem rather than tying a solution ..hope you get sorted .

Distilled water (not sure if that is correct english; i mean water with the minerals boiled/filtered out) with WaterWetter came out on top by far when we tested Evans, normal coolant and water&WaterWetter on Westfield racecars. 6 degrees cooler running plus much quicker reduction in temperature after some slipstreaming.
