hi, I have a 2wd sapphire cosworth that had an old alarm in which needed to be removed. I'm left with 3 wires that look to be part of the original loom that come from both front door locks that had been cut and attached to the alarm loom however with the alarm removed they go nowhere. I cant see in the original loom where they might reattach. they are one brown, one brown with a yellow stripe and one brown with a white stripe. any ideas where in the door loom they should be reconnected? Thanks.

Yes that's the standard wiring, it sounds like they may have bypassed the loom and connected via the alarm itself.
Usually, the alarm just gives a pulse to lock/unlock.
I think the connector on the main loom will be in the door itself passes through the rubber conduit between the front wing and door.
Would you not attach the new alarm in the same way though?

originally I was planning to install a new one however it's been recommended that I get a GPS tracker instead so had been giving that some thought..
With regard to the loom in the door a cant find any sign of where these wires might have come form. no spare plug no taped up wires or anything.
