WRC / Swedish plenum needed?? 400 bhp
as per title, need to finalise things before engine is built and dyno'd
is it worth using this inlet at this power level?
If so.. mike.. get one to you know where!
cheers

T38 aint a t34 tho is it.......t38 holds more boost for longer up the rev range....
T38 is closer to a t04b (which harvey and ahmed had no idea what it was LOL )
Whats the spec of his Magical T34 then ?

Was just a genunine question as t34 cars never make anymore than 380 on a set of decent rollers thats all.....massive jump to 440....
No stiring just interested, as the turbo could come in useful

Thing is, in the same way that Turbo Technics mixed and matched T34 and T4 parts to create the "in between" T38 ......Someone with an engine Dyno (Harvey) can work closely with a another Garret supplier to get similar results - if not better, as they would optimise the "new hybrid" for using on a YB engine.....IDEAL

Turbotechnics rate the t34 at what bhp

That was chassis dyno power (Interpro)

Steve,
This is the magical T34 that Ima had on his engine and if you want the full spec, I suggest you phone Harvey . However, only the casing is a T3/4 (and is heavily machined), the core is totally different .
But given you're so knowledgable, you knew that already .
Dave,
If you want to go for the 440bhp turbo, then I'm sure Harvey could sort you out a deal. Take both your turbos on Sat and discuss with him....

I guy round here and a PF user has a harvey gibbs engine in his 3 door,
I'm not getting too involved in this argument as I'm not a guru, but I know that it made 400bhp using one of Harveys T34's at 2 bar on his dyno, so really Mike does have a point, in fact I believe you even know the fella Mike
right, back to my cup of T

PMSL - as if
Mike, i don't know anything about the blower, hence the question...
IT aint a T34 is it, plain and simple.

Phil, no answer, must have been a good blower
But for an engine to make more incar than on the dyno.
A. its impossible. (if this is not the case please explain)
B. Rollers incorrect. (see A.)

I know nothing about tuning.
i know how my car feels and it feels faster with 32psi then with 26psi and it makes less power than it did on the dyno with more boost.....more boost = more power usually
