Wonder if anyone can help. I own a mk4 escort rs turbo and have always wondered if it is an origin Rs turbo. The vin is WFOBXXGCABGG20796. Need to know if its original, also what year and original colour is. At the moment it's registered as an original black 1986 vehicle.

Anyone with any ideas would be much appropriated as full restoration is about to start. Thanks!!!

yes it appears to be an early s2
colour is on a alloy plate on the slam panel, where the bonnet catch is fitted
silver vin plate will hold the engine code LN is rs turbo

Colour is A 9, what colour is that. Engine number is LN. That not a rs turbo engine?

🙏 just saw it is LN! Any idea on the a9 colour code?

a9 will be the trim code recaros are standard
the black vin plate on other side will tell you colour
my guess its black and genuine , nice 1 !!

Any ideas what it's with in UK? Has pistons rods, stage 4 head, omex efi management, 280hp, gaz coilovers and wilwood 4pots

standard cars are the higher priced or tend to be, easy £4000-£6000 could make double, peoples opinions may differ
