You could buy probably 100 turbos with a 100mm inlet. That doesnt mean shit.

The actual sizes of compressor and turbine wheel matter. You will need to remove the turbine housing and compressor cover to get full dimensions, or a guess can be made measuring just inducer and exducer.

Precision turbos will have an ID tag and usually Precision cast into the compressor cover. That unit appears to have neither, so could be a chinese unit.

You dont mention whether it's an oil journal or BB, it will be very obvious when you spin the blade.

stevie thanks for input .im far from expert on turbos .it looks well made imo but could,nt tell you any more than that .the impellor moved about the same as any turbos i have but i have never spun up a bb one so couldnt tell you .

i would never try sell it as something it may not be ,so if it is a copy how much is it worth?

i am going to go for a gtx2860 gen 2 for my zetec

Shame it does not have any markings on it to help identify who manufactured it.
As previously said precision usually have their name on the compressor housing.
Most likely some sort of copy. I,m going to have a punt and say mamba turbo as that's the only other name I know and it's not a Garrett, Borg, holset, turbo technics or precision.

Chinese turbos don't necessarily look badly made, but its whats inside and what materials its made from that's what counts. The fact it has nothing on it to identify point to it being a cheap copy in my opinion. Like Stevie said... Measure both of the wheels and get inducer and exducer diameters (small and big end of wheel), you'll need to pop off the comp and ex housings but its the only way to get the spec but tbh if its a cheap copy then they're only about £150 new on ebay!

Hope you have found out what sort of turbo you have. I have had various turbos and they have all had letters/numbers in the castings and quite often a small metal tag as well identifying who made them so the one you have is a bit of a mystery.
