Default Anyone know anything about Ford sat navs?

I have a 2017 model B Max with a built in Sat Nav. I am having trouble finding how to use it and the manual isn't helping.
Is there anyone who can help?

Ron

so it must be Sync 3 right?

if so I have the same - not very intuitive, so normally I just use Google Maps on the phone.

what is it specifically that is not working for you

Thanks for reply Heitmann.

Firstly, it is a built in sat nav. But even after ticking everything in the menu I can't get any speed camera warnings, the guy in the dealership said he thinks they don't have them any more.

Then I am finding it hard to enter an address. I have had a Tom Tom in my old cars and find this very confusing.

Any help would be very grateful of. Thanks. Ron

I've sync 3, entering destinations is simple enough. Personally I find it better than some of the navigation I've used before.
I've road sign recognition so speed camera warnings aren't a big deal.

sorry for late reply

well I too dont get speed camera warnings (but havent looked for it either in settings tbh) In Denmark we do not have fixed speed cameras, so the feature probably would not work.

the address input is in my view quite bad - sometimes it will not find the simplest addresses
One thing I seem to recall is when you type a road an also need the house number - I believe you can type the house number before you have finished the full road name. It worked sometimes and saves a little typing

but as said - I don't bother with mine I just use google maps and sometimes for fun I use the Android Auto feature to get the google map view on the sync 3

If it is sync 3 go to the navigation settings and turn hazzard spot warnings on, you can then choose visual or visual and chimes.
