Zetec tensioner relocationer bracket
Hi
I'm after a tensioner relocation bracket from my Zetec as I'm removing the power steering pump I know retro ford do one but as mine is a RS it uses a five bolt water pump and there brackets use one of the bolts to mount to but for the four bolt pump so won't fit dose anyone know where I can get one that will fit or can get one made.
Pics of retro ford bracket for reference.
Thanks

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
As above, what's it in and are you relocating or changing the alternator itself ?
If not then a nice solution is to replace the power steering pump with a 120mm idler and use a non ac belt and keep the standard tensioner. If the rs pulley is bigger than stock zetec then you may need a longer belt.

They sell the idler in the states. I've bought a pulley I just need a couple of bearings and some time.

It's for my Focus RS mk1 removing power steering pump already done ac delete not changing altantor was hoping to change where the power steering pump is to the tensioner pulls so I could run a short belt same as in this pic.

The kits you see just move the idler there. The tension is done by rotating the alternator.
Often using a smaller alternator for clearance on rwd setups.

Yes but could use the bracket and make the bolt hole for the pulley elongated and adjust it up or down to loosen or tighten the belt if that make sense like this

Use a zetec silvertop alternator sprung tensioner and just custom mount it somewhere in your design , they are very tight to move i.e. Have a lot of tension even with a 13mm spanner as a lever.
