The french make very good diesel engines in my opinion. But the DV6 does need constant oil changes, good diesel and a regular kick up the arse to keep it running right.

Doesn't help when Ford and Volvo stipulate an A5/B5 'fuel economy' engine oil with a low HTHS and high sulphated ash. I use an A3/B4 with a Sulphated Ash of less than 1% like Total Quartz 9000 0w30 or a C3 oil instead now.

The euro6 daf engine cant be run on bio fuel we have a large operator in are area ive been called out too twice now to put fuel in as they ran out in the yard lol. They cant use there bio in them. someone at daf technical told me there already looking into euro7 now
