Default 2017 Focus RS

Spotted a brand new blue Focus RS today in the New Forest near Beaulieu. It was turning into the road I was coming out of. When the driver put his foot down it backfired and popped and banged. Does the New Focus RS have anti-lag as it sounded like a rally car to me?

Yep the sport button gives you more pops and bangs. My Mrs said to be the other day that the only thing she really misses about the RS we had was the pops and bangs..!

I never realised the mk3 RS was AWD. Much better idea and very drivable now in that guise.
it's the only Focus RS I would entertain now or a RWD Cossie converted one.

I'm hiring a V8 Mustang in California in September - kinda think I might be chopping the RS in for one if it's as good as I hope it will be..

Just depends what you want from a car? As a weekend only car, then I expect the Mustang will have a better sense of "special" when it's driven.
Not sure I'd want to be driving a Mustang stuck in endless miles of tailback - or taking more than one friend anywhere with virtually non-useable rear seats. And then there's the damn thirst of the thing over a year in comparison.

Well mainly because the thread is about a car, and it's been posted in the 'non car related discussion' section. It would just help to keep things tidy that's all.
