Default Tyres

Evening gents

Does anyone have any recommendations for tyre suppliers other than Black Circles?

I'm looking at 2 sets, both Michelin Pilot Supersports

The best I can get on BC is just over 1K, would be nice to get that price down a bit

Cheers

Dave

Thanks for that Richie, just had a look and surprisingly they're £200 dearer!!

Looks like I might have got a half decent price to start with?

I have just had 4 michelin pilot sport 4's fitted this week. £502 all in from kwikfit, booked online as when i phoned up they quoted £1104 for the same thing! Either they fucked up there or it really is less than half price to book online. Saying that they quoted £844 for a set of pilot sport 3's on the phone too.
235/40/18

Couldnt find them cheaper online, and you still have to pay for fitting (which fitters dont like if you dont buy the tyres from them)

Edit: just noticed you said supersports, i doubt kwikfit do them

Remember to check the dates on them, I have seen some old tyres before, in fact the ones on my pug looked brand new but were 2007 dates....I changed them and it had better grip.

Oponeo usually very good.

Although with tyres, it really is just a case of shopping around

Tyreshack are the place Richard at Tremona Garage uses now and he reckons they are hard to beat on prices. They have places around the country but if you just want to get some of their prices you can phone the Southampton branch on 02380528528.

I bought a set of maxxis tyres for my cossie 215/3518s last year for 200 quid free delivery

I just got a set of cheap tyres for my mondeo 225/40/18s for 130 quid delivered.

Both off ebay.

Im lucky cause i can fit the tyres myself.
