Default Cossie head advice

Can someone tell me from the pics if there is enough left in this head to use it, or do I need to get another one

well the face isnt flush witht he brass insert at the top corner,, so could skim it

compare this view with the following, taken from a head that is slightly over the minimum specified head thickness of 138.68mm:





they look very similar to me - so unless a light skim will clean it up enough, the valve seat inserts will be getting very close to being exposed at the edge after the skim..

Its shouldn't need a skim as the head gasget was fine before the head was removed, its the bottom end thats worn out, I'm just keeping all my options open and need to find out before I sell it or decide to get just a short motor that its ok, also I wouldn't sell anything thats not up to scratch
