Default rev counter

Hi all.

I have noticed recently (3 door) that when I use the indicators the rev-counter moves in time with the indicators. When I say move i mean about a 1mm with the indicator lighting period.
What can cause this?

Cheers.

Thanks Marty, could this lead to a misfire at higher boost/revs ? as I understand that the green wires off the coil are a switch neg and the tacho .

Cheers.

I would say this is due to the spark being 'blown' out, due to increased cylinder pressure, which is pretty common on the standard ignition system.

Having smaller plug gaps can alleviate this (which isn't ideal).
