Default Rear handbrake calipers

Evening what handbrake caliper do people use when fitting ap four pot rear
Brakes , just after some info before I start stripping mind down cheers

std calipers usually come mounted already...hence they're standard lol

The additional 4 pot you wish to fit would need custom brackets

The new four pots bolt in were the old hand brake caliper once mounted , hence why I was asking if any one ran a handbrake caliper . Pointless post it seems il work it out me self as normal

The std 4x4 caliper can be used just for handbrake purposes, normally in conjunction with a 330x28mm disc / 4 pot caliper. This requires a bracket to move the OE caliper outwards and machining to the pad carrier to allow the wider disc.. Also needed are thinner pads.

Wilwood might do thinner large discs ?

I know I use 300x20mm at the back as they were handy for the calipers

Reyland do a kit, hence Martin knowing so much. Buy his, no hassle fit.

I have a normal rear calliper if you want to try it. The hand brake is sticky but they normally oil and free up. Had all new seals throughout and freshly painted black. You can have it for free if you want it mate it is near side

The OP was asking about AP 4 pots, a 20mm wide disc is not going to cut it I'm afraid.

Dingla, if you need info just ask. Not trying to sell anything before the mods jump on me.

Cheers Martin my carriers iv machined any way as I run st170 front discs on the rear with some brackets I made , I'm going to have a mock up this week waiting on new bearings
For my spare hubs so may be in touch thanks for the info

And thanks for the offer , my rear cosworth calipers are brand fire new , as say my new 4 pots have the machines brackets that bolt were the cosworth item did so in looking to move the standard down just for hand brake , il have a mock up an see what I need cheers
