Escort mk2 dash clock advise

Can anyone give me some advise if I was to fit a dash clock with a rev counter how do I go about connecting it up as the one I am replacing didn't have one but at the back of the dash it has a printed circuits board any advise will be appreciated thanks for your time and help in advance
