So I've been thinking my bingo van is not been running great and I've been wanting to do an engine conversion for a little while. Would a 2.2 TDCI be an easy ish fit into a connect van??

I would be looking at buying a running Mondeo on a 06 ish plate then a spares or repair van to strip out. Would like a van would good poke and good MPG so thought this would be the way to go.

Anyone done anything like this would be great to hear from you.

lot of effort for little gain, if you allready have both donors then go for it. i once had a 1.7 astra diesel with a fucked engineand a 2.0 astra diesel sportvan with a rotten body and swapped the engine over it was all bolt on stuff but ended up with full engine, full van loom spliced into car loom, fuel tank wing off for ecu... and so on and so on only took 3 days but gained abut 20bhp if going to that effort might aswell stick a zetec turbo in
