Hi All,
I am a new member on here.
I am thinking of buying a Mondeo 2.2 TDCI Titanium X sport 197bhp. Am looking at 2011/12 cars.
What are the issues to watch out for? Are they genrally good cars?
Last Mondeo I had was a MK2 1.8TD about 12 years ago.
Any advice welcome.
Thanks

I've had my 2011 tit x sport for over a year now it replaced my st tdci I'm really pleased with it, had no issues with it in that time other than routine servicing, brakes and tyres
tyres are expensive as they are 19" but I've found one for just under £100 a corner that offers good grip verses value
other general faults with the car are the boost limit in first and second slows the getaway somewhat, get it into 3rd and it really does go well
keep a look out for well specced up ones they are masses of options on these new sat nav, summer pack, dvd's tinted rear windows, rear blinds, active cruise, hill assist, full electric seats etc
This is mine

Love ours, had it about a year now but we got very lucky though as pretty much every option box was ticked when the guy bought it new apart from sat nav.It replaced an ST tdci that was starting to give trouble and I can't see us getting anything else but a newer Mondeo when the time comes to change again.
A lot of car for the money IMO

Thanks for the info Steve.
What do you mean by the boost limit? Is it a fault or just the way ford made it?
