Default Adjusting avo coilovers

I recently bought a set of coilovers which are only a 1,000 miles old but can't seem to adjust the damping setting? There is a knurled knob on the bottom with a grub screw in the side, I've undone Allen key grub screw but it's not moving? Any special knack to adjusting them or they seized. Do I need more force like a pair of mole grips or something like can only be adjusted with no weight bearing on them. Thanks

On my old ones the grub screw held the knob on
I don't think it's a lock

They should move pretty freely, you should be able to do them by hand, I know it sounds silly but have you tried twisting them both ways? Sometimes people before you mess with things and turn them all the way up so if your just trying to adjust them up it won't move

Thanks tried moving it both ways, might try some wd40 on it and turning it bit harder. Hopefully that budge it

Hope that don't happen! Suppose to have been a cheap upgrade to make car feel better. Would have been better keeping my bilstein shocks and lowering springs.

Have you got a set? I expect they are the same as all the rear cossie suspension stuff seems pretty much the same through the range

Took coilovers off, couple squirts of wd40 then slight turn with pliers they instantly became free.
