2009 Mondeo - "alarm service required" message??
Hi- I have a 2009 Mondeo and it says- 'alarm service required' on the dash.
I've done a full system scan and there are no fault codes.
The car is for sale and has got a viewing today. It's never been on before, only started yesterday!!
Does anyone have any idea how to get rid of it or what I need to do to fix it?

New siren/sounder to cure it. Odd occasions it can be the interior sensor where the interior light is. But 9/10 it's the siren under the NSF arch liner. Only two 10mm nuts and a multiplug to change it. Other than the arch liner off of course

out by opening the car windows and locking the doors, after a minute or so I put my arm into the car and activated my alarm. I unlocked the door sat in the car and closed the door, I then put key in ignition and turned it to point 11 Ignition lights came on after a moment the service alarm went off. I turned off the car and put my key back into the ignition and done, the alarm service has now gone. Sorted at last. Cheers.

I managed to figure it out. I had a flat battery and replaced it with a new battery, after that my dash board kept telling me that my alarm service required. I managed to sort the problem
