i"ve had a good few evos-all 2,4,5-the newer ones never did it for me

as previous poster buy the rs,or at least the rs rear diff kit on a 5/6
easily modded to 380bhp ish on standard internals,more if you dare

watch for rust though-terrible for it

I have a gunmetal 8 340 mr had it over 10 years now bought it on 2600 miles and she's just hit 32k, the cars been fautless still feels tight. I find it pretty cheap to run tbh regular servicing + fuel that's about it still haven't found a car that I'd sell it for.

Sooooo cool! Love that colour. I saw a red one for sale the other day, that looked seriously nice and quite unusual as well!

The mr's came in red, white, grey, silver they seem to be going up in value like all the interesting stuff hard to get a good one now as said watch out for rot. Also they all come up as a 320 on the logbook.

Far fewer newer interesting cars about now I think, they all look basically the same. Put an Evo and a Cossie next to each other though and they're totally different beasts, but both cool!

class cars but they can give plenty of trouble too,
gearbox, clutch, ayc pump etc can all give trouble and don't forget they can rot just as good as the old fords

The only evos I like are the MR 8&9 in gun metal.

I only like the 5 or 6's, love the boxy kit.
I had a 5 with the Rs diff, was an absolutely awesome car, I bought mine off the owner of Tuna motorsport so it had all the goodies' adjustable top mounts, upper and lower braces with ohlins shocks

That and my 2wd Saff are the only cars I regret selling.
