Kuga problems

Default Kuga problems

So got a 14 plate kuga..been in already for water ingress probs,said issue had been fixed..jump 1 month to today...took kids to McDonald's so sitting in car when it suddenly shut down.try to start it just won't go...service engine now appeared on display..as arrived does some checks still won't go so plugs comp in..16 faults all engine sensors etc ..then noticed drivers footwell flooded again...

Anybody else had issues like this...the battle with ford will begin Tuesday as there shut leaving me with me dealing the messs:

if you bought it from a trader after i think october you have far more rights now
once a complicated modern car has suffered water ingress it will suffer in the future unless torn apart dried out,re-harnessed etc-and no trader will do that

The car was bought at machargs/Arnold Clark brand new..got towed bk to dealership yesterday and dumped in there car park...will see what happens this week.......had it up to ma kneck dealing with ford

Apparently ford only make cars to be water tight for 1 year then your own your own

I wouldn't worry that much. You have 3 years of warranty.

Seen that mate but it forgets to tell u the fkn assholes hit u with ford only covers water ingress for 1 year

Car was in for water ingress probs in Dec 15 car was 1.5 years old at that time..ford never paid Evans halshaw for so called repair work they done totalling 18 hours so they claim..now am bk car is nearly 2 year old and aa guy thinks Ecu etc is fkd due to water........fkn pissed off is an understatement

We never have problem whit getting water ingress on warranty, for 5 years as that is the warranty for Ford from 2011 and forward here

According to European law you should have a minimum of 2 years warranty without any exclusions or limitations.
So, if you have to, take them to court. At the very least inform them you are thinking about that.
