Default Avos now fitted on front

finished them yesterday with the wheel bearings. They are ok but i can hear a very faint knocking sound, anyone know what this might be?

it has a sort of bearing but i used the ford ones too, brand new ones

So you put 2 on ? Like a flat washer type ??

i used the ford one which is like a flat washer with rubber round the outside and also the avo top spring cup seems to have a form of bearing built in to it.

it is more like a knock but only very slightly and not that loud, almost not enough to bother me

You may not need them both.

Does it do it only under acceleration ? or if you grab the wheel can you get it to knock independantly ?

If you push up and down on the suspension on each side you can just feel a slight knock

I think its ok, will check anyway. Could it be that they are just new and maybe the spring is rubbing on something like the cup/s and need to 'wear' a bit to sit properly?

If the Avo has a bearing in it then yes - its worth a try

The thing is its in the car now and i cant check it, but it didn't look like one, it just rotated inside the ally cup if that makes any sense
