Evening guys. has anyone had any experience in building a 2.3 galaxy engine using rs2000 bits to aid in upping the bhp ? As i'm looking to build a engine up for my van and have managed to pick up a galaxy 2.3 engine cheap.
Is there anything do's or don'ts on the best ways to make it reliable with decent power and reliability? cheers

To do a proper job you will need some RS2000 engine bits as well, like camshafts, sump and quite a few other bits and pieces.

'minirotty' on here has done loads of these and would be the best person to ask.

I did one around 12 years ago, so what I know may be out of date a bit !

Yeah ask Kev Minirotty as he was the guru last time I checked. Only problem iirc was when the conversion was done, they didn't like to be thrashed.
