Where to get my cossie setup
I really need to get my car setup
I live in Bedfordshire, where would you recommend i take it?
Jamsport are fairly close, any thoughts on them?
Its only running on t34/greens with an MSD chip so nothing out of the ordinary. I just want the boost/fueling set up without the fuel pressure being wound right up to maximum!

I would not go near jamcock with a bargepole , if you want it done spot on then take a road trip to motorsport developments

The last time i had it setup they just wound the regulator right in to make it safe at the top end. Just ended up rich everywhere else.

Phew! Winding the pressure just puts strain on the fuel pump and can actually run lean as the pump simply runs out of capacity to supply the base + the boost pressure to maintain the correct differetial pressure. So if the base pressure is set to 4 bar and you have 2 bar of boost then the pump will need to supply 6 bar.
Stu did an article about this and exlained it much better than I can.
I'm only 50 miles from MSD so I always go there for setups.

I travelled down from Scotland to get mines done at MSD wouldn't trust anyone else up here to do it. As said MSD or MA Developments have a good reputation but I dunno if mark maps the Weber ecu's which I'm assuming that's what you've got? He must map them considering how many cossies go there?

This is similar to what I've heard, i went there about 15 years ago but that was only for a power run on a N/A car. Obviously setting up a boosted engine is a bit different!
