Looks like it will need a shed load of parts to put it back to 100% plus trying to find a rs500 engine will be hard and it won't be original engine number. However I don't know if it will matter too much to most people.

That could do 50k if it gets in a bidding war, the engine and gearbox are relatively cheap (for a non rs500 block) to obtain considering the value of the car
it does all depend exactly what else is missing though

Well the best person for this is Paul Linfoot if it is a genuine moonstone 500.
He will have all the parts if not the contacts to get them.
Or someone who has a moonstone 2dr with all the 500 bits that could be a win win situation for the right price.

he says in the advert only the engine and box are missing so I presume all the bumpers and spoilers are there.
how many other moonstone 500 projects are there out there available?
That's what will dictate the price

Was gonna ask if t had been confirmed as a genuine 500 but appears the paperwork is there to back it up
Would be good to know if it's one of the missing moonstones on Paul's books.
Think it will do good money though, shell looks tidy apart from the ding in quarter

You'd think they'd make a bit more effort with the pics if it's "all there except engine and box"
I suspect it may well not be all there.. I may be wrong, but 15 years and car in pieces.. Guess it depends whether he got it complete.

What a cock. Why don't these messers say all this when they list these things. No wonder he hasn't replied to half my questions as he probably thought if he did I wouldn't be interested.

Anyone who bids that amount of money on an advert as vague as that needs there head read imo.
I mean what are you actually buying ? is it genuine, whats the reg so u can do your homework & find out is history ie what build number owners etc is it hpi clear, what exactly is needed to complete the car, the list goes on

with regards to the car. Its a proper piss poor advert, and dodgy as hell. Did he even say what front bumper is in the pictures? with no id/vin has it ever been on the road legally? I can see this being relisted a few times
