Default In car cam's

So i got an in-car cam as a surprise Xmas gift which was nice as i do meet some knobs on my travels and i thought it would be a laugh to play it back over a brew...it's a reasonable spec has GPS but another feature i noticed for my added enjoyment was it constantly records the MPH too...Is there a convenient way to disable this added feature......It's a next base model ...

The next base settings should have an option to disable MPH, I had the 420g iirc and that could.

I took mine back twice and gave up as it kept freezing and wasn't always recording when it should making it pointless, video quality was good though, I probably just ended up with a bad couple, as quite a few people have also had good success with them.
