Default Disabling a brake override system

I've just bought a Fiesta Zetec S 140, it's a great little car. The only thing I don't like is the brake override system. If there's any overlap greater than around half a second on the brake and accelerator the power is cut for a couple of seconds.

Is there a way to disable the brake override system? I'm not entirely sure if the ST has the same system, google doesn't bring back many results on this. If it does, I'm sure the Group N rally boys manage to disable this somehow?

Cheers

I'm guessing it's something that could be mapped out of the ecu, but not sure why you would want to be on the brake and accelerator at the same time, in a car that could barely pull the skin off a rice pudding?

Haha cheers. Left foot braking though, tend to get a bit of overlap, especially on tight tracks.
