RWD Saff L8 engine loom?
Finally getting my Saff back after 8 months in the body shop.
One of the many, many jobs I need to sort is a new engine loom. Looking for recommendations for a supplier please? Was considering making one myself as I've read on here that the parts can be had for under £200 but not sure I can be arsed! Fitting an L8 ECU when I put it all back together.
Cheers.

How come all loom builders use braided sleeving? Once you get dirt or oil over them they're impossible to clean and will look like shit forever.
Why not use proper Raychem DR-25 heat shrink? Also, none of the looms I've seen are concentric twisted for flexibility and durability.

I personally think the braided sleeving looks best so I guess that's why most people use it...

Braided sleeving is actually worse than having no sleeving at all because sand and grit can get in there and rub through, short circuit your loom = why we don't use it on anything (milspec).
