bearing in mind the nightmare i had yesterday afternoon....got home after 6hours of driving in total to find this letter from my insurance broker .....
"Dear Mr O'Brien,
We have recently been contacted by your insurer with reference to your vehicle registration number. The DVLA do not recognise this as a reg. number and would therefore require proof of this being correct.
Please could you check and confirm you reg. number again and send a copy of the vehicle documents to us to forward to your insurer"
ABSOLUTELY TOTALLY UNBELEIVABLE!!!!!!
whats next for me this week eh?!?! Lucy will probably say she's pregnant next!!!!

so ya cars still not a real car even though its got its new plate on it. why now stick the old one on it then just incase the paperwork has been lost

its not a dig in anyway... just interested..
Before I went away for a year, was registered B16... then come back, se youve bought it and its not that anymore
TBH I couldnt give 2 sh*ts about Q thing.. mate had a Q plater cossie and made money on it etc.. Assume it got nicked and recovered

basically as Kieth is the king of tackyness and all things maxpower and gay, the DVLA felt he was doing an injustice to the heritage of the S1 and decided to buy him a copy of max power and gave hi a free q plate as well

It has been reshelled....but with a RS1600i shell....just the shell. nothing else......EVERYTHING on it is genuine RST S1 bits....
the shell was a shell for 14years!!! un touched, un fondled, un knicked, un written off.....BUT because it hadn't been registered for 5-6 years, it was taken off any database....soooo, in theory, the car was reshelled with a NON IDENTIFABLE shell...even if we had the OLD log book for the shell, inc REG. number, and it all checked out...THUS, the DVLA twats decided to Q plate it, even when they lied to us about nto going on a Q plate IF we could proove the identity of the shell......
and if you can find an S1 in as good condition as mine (all bar the turbo
) without travelling miles and miles and miles....then your a better man than me!!!

please people....I'm pretty much EMOTIONALLY UNSTABLE today!!! due to the fact that i'm driving around in a 2004 registered, RST replica that has a blown turbo and possibly a melted engine!!!
