Immobiliser problem

Default Immobiliser problem

I have a jack plug immobiliser on my dash and the jack plug it'self has worn

Im sure it was called a paralizer fitted to car(By Ford main dealer) in 1993 possibly made by pirahna

Anyone got any info...............where i can get another?

The ones we used to sell around that time were just headphone jacks with two resistors soldered inside.
The Unit measured the resistance and disarmed the immobiliser.
For someone who was into electronics - this would an absolute piece of piss to replicate.

I f it was my car - I would seize the opportunity to have it ripped out and get a cat2 with a transponder or something.
