Really aimed at the tuners.
I was told by webcon that 3 bar map sensors will not be made again and the tooling has been scrapped. And they tested the aftermarket ones and would not sell them.
So what are our options if we still want to retain the weber ecu's ?
I would like a 4 bar sensor as i'm a boost monster😂

Ultimately they all just output a 0-5v signal.
So as long as whoever is mapping it is happy with seeing different numbers, then the map sensor you use is irrelevant as long as it covers the range of pressures you need.
And as said before, looking at the scaling for the Weber 3bar sensor, it's pretty close to a GM 3bar sensor anyway
So again, after checking the mapping, really no reason why they couldnt be used. Although to be fair, most of them seem to come from China now too.
I see a place on ebay.com.au selling a GM style 4 bar map sensor for not bad money
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-BAR-MAP-...item1e9ab9832a
But there are better quality local options...more expensive too
http://www.jti.uk.com/product/map-sensors/
VW use a 4 bar map sensor on a few of their cars...pretty sure some of them aso have an integrated temp sensor too.
edit, DTA lists part number as 0281 002 316 for the 400kpa sensor
0281 002 456 for the 350kpa sensor

Im not sure if they are the cheap Chinese ones, he had a bit on FB about them saying they come from the US and the voltage is correctly scaled for use with weber.
He also sells a adaptor to make a PF01 read as a PF09 if upgrading to a L8.
Not sure how much I trust him had problems with BHP in the past.

Its a little loom and seams to have a circuit board in line I guess to swap the voltage round. not a bad idea if it works It going to take people coming up with this stuff to keep these cars going.

I guess just be nice for these items to be fully tested before someone melts a engine.
You can simply invert the wires to change the voltage, which is the done method.
