I think that's an old vid! I did hear a story about a water pump bolt that was too long a crack and day on the welder

I thought it sounded awesome. And to be fair he didn't seem to take the revs that high so expect it's even faster than it looked

Impressive. Those elite boxes must transform the car the way it goes through the gears is nuts.

ive not been in it but a few mates have. It's meant to be an awesome mod there's no let off. Full throttle gear changes means it's always on full boost. But it dose get on your nerves as a road car I'm told but he tracks it a lot

Cant be many saffs that get used on the track these days.

How far off is yours for getting finished.

Will be next year mate. All the engine bits are with mark other than silly things like gaskets and bits and bobs. He is very busy and there doing rods car but hopefully I'll get my engine in winter ish. I still have to get a turbo and waste gate set up and have the exhaust system made. But the front and rear suspension set up will be done before it go's on the road and exhaust built. I'll be fitting an mk beam and fully adjustable front end. It will get done

Looks very fast in that vid, it takes a lot of poke to pull away like that. Why is the elite annoying on road, is it just noise or snatchy when going slow?

noise crashing into gear all the time plus it went back for repair and they told him he was using the clutch too much which was not good for it

Thanks, I think the thought of a sequential is much better than the real life experience I expect.
