hi all. as anyone used any of these as track tyres please.

they are cheap retread rally slicks and im tempted by the profil as they are cheaper but interested in opinions.

They are both remoulds, not that there is anything wrong with that.
If it's just for track tyres then they'd probably do fine, only seen a handful of people use the Maxsports, but never really got any reports on them as to good or bad
These were mentioned to me the other day by a drifter, and he rated both quite highly, with the Achilles being the grippier softer tyre.
Westlakes are much cheaper though
Certainly side by side with an 888, the Westlakes did feel a good bit softer...and cost about 1/2 the price of 888's

yeh just track days. iv done lots of googling and ruling them out now. some say they ok and theres also plenty of storys of delaminating. i will look at your link so thanks for that.

And having seen them being used on a 600hp rwd car...they do seem to be very good.

Well maybe that is you,re opinion(we all have aright to one ) but if a company wants to be internationally respected then schoolboy spelling is not acceptable.
