So good seeing the 80's cars on the road, really brought back some memories! My second ever car was a MK1 Golf GTI, loved it.

i wish they'd show more of the mechanical/ bodywork work actually being done, too much chatting and not enough filming of the work being done to the car.

Matt you know why because they have limited budget and things get bodged. To restore a car still takes x amount of hours regardless of make.

Great show still, a bit different not buying all the cars from the owners, but the owners get the money themselves.

And of course they are no longer doing just British made/manufactuer cars.

Enjoyed that, brought back some memories, mainly of me thrashing a few of those pugs and the odd gt turbo in my trusty 1300 escort bonus (honest guvnor!)

If you have Virgin it's on Catch Up. Thought it was pretty decent. It's filmed not too far from my home town as they drove the Mini past my friends Road when they were on the test drive.

To be fair, I was wetting myself more at the R5 GTT as that is what I had when I was 18 (couldn't afford a cossie then). The car was great fun but the most fragile vehicle I have even owned and it was falling apart even then...
