Default -31 actuator

How stiff should a -31 wastegate actuator be to pull over the pin.
I fitted a brand new one months ago but just got round to playing with the boost control i originally fitted it half a hole but pumped it up with a pump to slide it over the pin. It was only holding 6 psi so wound it in more recently and it pulls over easy just by hand every other one ive had you have to play tug of war with it lol.

A -31 lifts at 8psi with correct pre loading can be loaded safely to around 6mm.
Sounds like your boost control may have a problem as with the waste gate loaded to 8 the engine will typically receive about 6.

Half hole pre load it boosts around 5 psi with boost control turned off over a full hole pre load boosts around 7 psi and it slides over the pin easy with one had will try the old one again that one never had that problem
