cossie rear beam and spacer fitting help

Default cossie rear beam and spacer fitting help

Fitted black poly bush to me beam do I just bolt it up with plates or do the spacers go back in as the poly bush looks twice the size

Plastic spacers between plate that bolt to body I mean

I believe you should have a steel tube that pass trough the poly bushs to stop you from over tightening them fella

Someone on the RSOC had problems fitting these

He asked the same question, could not bolt it up the body as the bush was so hard it would not compress. He rang Powerflex and they said "Yeah they're pretty stiff aren't they, you'll have to cut them down"

I'm sure you can do it, if you jig it around enough, but yes you should only have 1 bush and 1 steel tube (and a small packet of copper grease)

I've fitted the beam without both the large flat spacer and cone shaped spacer that sat on top of the original ford bush

Fitted the bush and the steel tube and it all bolts up ok is that correct ??
