*STOLEN* Gold Mk1 Escort 1300E RLO765L, Bushey Heath, 03/03/15 *STOLEN*
Gold Mk1 Escort 1300E RLO765L, Bushey Heath, 03/03/15
Gold mk1 Escort 1300E registration number RLO765L was stolen from Elstree Road Garage, Bushey Heath, Hertfordshire at 8:30pm on Tuesday 3rd March 2015.
The car had no fuel in it at the time it was stolen & was stolen by 3 people, being pushed in the direction of the A41 in Bushey.
The car is completely standard, has a black vinyl roof, an aerial located in the nearside front wing & the typical 1300E side repeaters in both front wings. The wings also have aftermarket wing mirrors fitted which will stand out.
The car has rust patches on the front edge of the bonnet & has the standard rectangular 1300 fog lights.
Anyone with any information should call 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting crime reference J2/15/233.
Stolen the same night as the TVR powered Escort, possibly linked as there are only between 33-40 miles between Trackspeed & Elstree Road Garage.
Both had 3 people involved in the thefts.

Sad to hear of another one! I had a conversation today with my insurer at renewal. They said that with my car noted as garaged it must be in my garage between 10 pm and 6 Am every night, if on the one off occasion it was on my drive (with gates and cctv) and it went missing I would not be covered. If it was out at a friends then it would be covered!

They won't pay out either! Happened to one in Oldham in 2013, was parked on the owners drive overnight ready to go to a show & got lifted! Flux refused to pay out as it wasn't garaged
