Here is a saph bumper made to fit my old ZT 3dr. I gave the bodyshop the bumper and a pic of a golf R32 bumper. This was the finished result lol.. Oh and a minor towing incident

It isn't very thick, psychological rather than science I'm sure. The air flow will be more laminar to the cooler without it, but quantity I doubt will be impacted.

I can assure you it does. You have to change the intercooler shape as well because the normal type are shite whatever you do. I hate these statements from people who have not done development work on these things.

I'm assuming having ducting down the sides of the ic would make a big difference too, stopping the path of least resistance and forcing air to go through the ic, not round it. And keeping the under tray on!?

That is what will make the efficiencies. Most design/engineering is common sense when the full system is considered.

Off course maximising the Intercooler to the dimensions of the bumper opening as well.

They look good, it's just the extra indicators to deal with, looks a bit odd with two sets!?

Just change them to spot lights or fogs or even vents

Makes it harder to decide then? I'd probably end up buying a second saggy one and cutting that!

I can see the benefits of cutting the bit in question out as it dose sit directly in front of the intercooler and will affect the amount of air flowing directly onto the cooler. But I don't think I'd ever cut mine I'm too much of a standard look fan

Bet you couldnt measure the benefits of a chopped bumper they would be so small.

Would dream of cutting one but each to there own

Can't do any harm, plus, if it gets rid of a droopy bit, can't be bad!?
