Default cleaning car

I use a shammy after washing the car but been told i should use a towel what do people use on here

Towels are nicer to use then a shammy.

Rinse it off, shampoo using a wash mit rather than sponger so that grit is not held and dragged against the surface and also use two buckets, one for shampoo washer and one for rinsing the mit as you go. Rinse and then towel dry.

Will help reduce the amount of swirl marks to the paint.

Thanks for the replys dont use a sponge only use a mitt will not use a shammy anymore my username was from brother in laws cossy but sadly he no longer has it I had mk2 escort but now got cmax the mk2 was getting difficuilt for my son who has special needs he loved it though and got upset when it had to go
