I'm looking into a side exit for the T5 and as it's now sitting a bit lower to the ground now I'm a little concerned with clearance, have any of you used oval tubing in exhausts? Does it have any negative effects on the exhausts gas speeds or any other technical gubbins?

Tailpipe sections after a turbo...as long as they are free flowing and adequate size...it'll be fine.
