The centre brake light has gone and i'm only 19 and i've never had to change one before, would anyone have any idea on how to go about it and where I'd be able to get a replacement bulb(s) I'm thinking halford.
It's the Same one as the one in the picture if it helps Any help much apreciated.
Unsure about the MK6 Fiesta.
The lamps will be 501 sidelight lamps.
My MK1 Focus had 20 T20 torx screws either side of the light cluster which you could undo and remove the light cluster.
There are a couple of spring loaded type clips inside them holes, you have to release them with a screwdriver, they are a bit fiddly, also if it has the rear spoiler it makes it near impossible, I gave up on the last one that came in with the spoiler, as something was gonna break, then the customer would be crying wanting a new light out of me.
So just stick 2 screwdrivers through the holes and it should pop out? When I bought the bulb from halford the guy also like you said asked if it had a spoiler, which It did. Said it would be to fidly also said you should be fine aslong as 2/3 of you're brake lights are working and when you take it for an MOT put black gaffer taper over it and delcare it now working. But would like to get it working might have a bash at it, shame there no videos about it online
*Resolved* to anyone still needing help, the only help I can gvie is don't give up it's just a fiddly job. When you remove the two grommets and put your screwdriver inside the two holes it might feel like there nothing there to pop the light out but there is it's just very difficult to find. A friend of my dads came over and had it out within literally 10 seconds.
Note* Don't try and force the light out as the screwdriver will go straight through the light and you might end up braking the light fixture and potentially scratch the rear spoiler Good Luck
