anyone got one or wants to do mine if i send the file across for a drink?

Got a few things working but need to set up the rest

 

Just been setting mine up with the ecu interface I bought with it for my life racing ecu,

got most things sorted other than the oil pressure and the battery voltage! this seems to be an equation issue in the dash2 config files

 

Anyone clued up as to what equation I would need to enter into the dash2 config software to enable to oil pressure and battery voltage to display properly


I cant seem to enter what it says to convert with in the LifeCal software

 

Can they not supply a CAN config for it ?

I know a few Syvecs guys recently posted about them having trouble getting the Dash2 working with theirs.

I think they got there in the end though, but RT werent overly helpful.

 

Im emailing back and forth with a fella from RT now and he is helping with the solution, just seems the info for bat and oil pressure is not coming through the can, i sent him the config file for the can today, may need an update and reflash so waiting for him to get back to me, he has been very helpful though so far



Thought maybe it was a sensor fault for the oil pressure but i am using the same zhyq pressure sensors for both fuel pressure and oil pressure and even swapping them round the oil pressure readout is scaled to max? no idea on the battery voltage either as yet

I tried to get the Dash2 running via CAN with my DTA ecu a few years ago. I gave up in the end and sold it. Nobody was offering any help for me.

 

All sorted now, got everything showing on racetech dash2 with ecu can interface

Rpm
Oil temp
Water temp
Air charge temp
Oil pressure
Fuel pressure
Boost
Battery voltage
Throttle position

Everything checked against live data stream from LifeRacing monitor


I have been dealing with a bloke called Sam Knight, couldn't be more helpful

What was the problem mate?

 

The interface configuration was wrong
But to be fair I did buy it 3 years ago so no wonder things have changed a bit with the Ecu readings

Just realised we are not getting anything on throttle position so working on that now

 

Was another issue with can interface config, had that changed and now showing throttle position on dash2

A ball ache sorting this all out and has taken me a week of messing around with it and emailing back and forth but worth it i think to get all the ecu info straight to dash,

I was doubtful as almost every car i have previously seen with the race tech dash2 display had not had it set up as owners mentioned it being difficult etc, they normally just do speed, water temp maybe and thats it

Not as easy as some but good once working

 

Well look on the bright side

More you play with and learn

Easier mine will be to do
