Default Need a FAN SWITCH asap!! fords don't make it no more!!

ordered one from fords on thursday, paid for it, should have been in on saturday...as the parts bloke said...

rang them tuesday "its not in yet sir, ring tommorow..it should be in then"

rang them yesterday..

"its not in yet sir"

"can you find out when its coming in"

**on hold for 5 minutes**

"its not coming in sir....we don't make it no more, come back in and we'll refund you the money"



anyone have a newish one?!?! mine works but its a bit intermittent....needs clenaing up but i'd prefer a new (ish) one!!

anyone know where I can get one from!?!?

keith aint they the same in the whole mk2 ford range, if ya have no luck then buy a kenlow fan switch

bit embarassing but what do you mean by fan switch They come on automatically? or is it the actual bit you turn for fan speed...

A fan switch usually refers to the plug in connector that sits in the rad.

With Keith....... I'm not so sure........

goes by the dizzy on an S2 a cossie one is by the rad, dunno about where it is on dodgy replicas tho

Most motor factors have them. Mines from Halfords and has been in there for years without problem. Only about £5 when I got it

It doesn't fit into the block, it fits into the thermostat housing which fits on the head which fits to the block....

Try Partco or Brown Brothers etc. Or even Halfrauds etc....

I won't be needing mine later on this year...
