I have the cat that was removed from my focus rs when the exhaust and decat were fitted. I'm off to the scrap yard in the next few days to get rid of some lead and copper.
Is the focus rs downpipe cat a high quality cat and worth taking with me to weigh in?
Thanks.

if it is stamped with ford logo, it will be half decent,
ford and high quality ,, hmmmmm
your car may need the cat re-fitting to pass a future mot,
so will cost you more in the long run, if you choose to scrap it

Cat's used to be worth a fair bit to weigh in, you could get Ł50-Ł60 just for one cat i think, thats why they used to get pinched of peoples cars so often a while back. The price of scrap is low at the moment so not sure what you would get for one now.
