well as the most of you know (who know me pretty well)

we have 2 cossys i got a 3dr and me missus a saph now the situation is:

She is seriously pissed off with her saph as it isnt running right and she has bad luck with cars ... i reckon its needing a rebuild but she doenst know weather she wants to spend the money on it to fix it and i havent gotten the time to look at it properly and its been the worst months to lay on the street and go fookin check it out. (we dont have a garage or anything.

We might be able to sell the saph for some money but not for enough to buy her summit decent that will be reliable.

Ive been thinking tonite about the option to sell my 3dr with new engine etc as that should fetch some cash to get her summit nice and allow me to get summit different.

But it will has to be anything quick for me as i cant live with a shit heap to run around you'll know what i am talking about.

Maybe i could pick up a nice S2 and mod the fook out of it and cage the fooker so i can track the few days on track but yet then again we only have the nurburgring wich is a few good miles away.

But on the other hand i do (now) only have one car which is the 3dr so i use it every time i have to (gladly not yet for work)

If i sell it and we can sell the saph there should be enough money left for me to do summit with an S2 and get it to a decent spec.

I reckon i will regret selling the 3dr but at least it will heal some wounds for my missus.

Its not that i like me car more then me missus but its a hard choice (if its a choice that is) and the 2nd question is wether i am able to get a decent non rust bucket S2 in this country.

this is a serious post though so i would like some serious replies off al sort

Strip the saph? Surely parts are quite rare in your part of the world?

Phil i have no idea to behonest if i will be able to sell the parts off it! as there aint that many about in the first place to replace bits on

fit the engine from the 3door in the saph and rebuild the 3door to a better spec when ya get time

fook me ginge the engine in me 3dr is already brand new! and i need a car as well! not fooking wait another year to finish an engine to put into it

Sell the Saph if she cant afford the running costs (ie engine work) and let her drive round in a S2 or similar.

You shouldnt have to forfeit your pride and joy to make your other half happy and she shouldnt expect you to.

Dont break it, sell it, it cant be that much of a dog that its worth under Ł2/Ł3k, you could get her a reasonable RST or Fessie for that sort of money.

i am with ginge, sack the missus, keep the saff and the 3dr, find yourself a woman who can afford to buy and run her own fookin car
plus sides = 2cossies and a newer model wife

To be honest, 9 times out of 10, the problem with the saff is gonna be minor.

I've driven to Holland before, so get your ass over to the UK with the saff and 3dr, time it with a meet (National Day), and then get it setup with Stu or someone, and get both cars sorted.

Don't make rash decisions, and think about what you're doing.

I know what u mean Rich but (un)fortunatly are house is almost ready and we need to spent some money on that i am affraid. I'd love to take it up to Stu to check it all over i really would.

It would also mean ill have to take a couple of days off work (days which i would need for finishing/decorating the house)
