Unhappy haldex AWD

I am having problems with my haldex my audi tt seems to have kangaroo petrol when pulling away. It's fine when you are up and away but taking off especially when you have the steering wheel on hard lock the car seems to struggle and have kangaroo petrol ( jumping ) it's fine once you're on the move same in reverse ! I have been told by the garage it's the haldex . I don't know what part of the haldex ..the pump_ the electric_ the hole haldex it's self .I don't want a large garage bill just with them finding the problem .I thought I would seek advice first .Can anyone out there give me some advice on what to look for or try first .please..please someone out there help
